The beginning of a house

Every great house begins with a vision. Before there was MIQUELA DAVIN, there was a commitment: to create handbags with intention — designed not only to be admired, but to become part of a woman’s story.

It began with a question. Handbags had always been more than accessories — they were the finishing touch, the final word an outfit speaks. Yet season after season, one question remained: why was it so difficult to find a handbag that brought together timeless design, exceptional craftsmanship, everyday versatility and lasting quality?

When no single design answered that question, the answer became clear: she would create it herself.

Inspiration appeared everywhere — in architecture and nature; in light, travel, colour and proportion; from the shores of Dubrovnik to journeys through Europe, Asia and Africa. Months of sketching and refining shaped a philosophy: every MIQUELA DAVIN creation should exist for a purpose — answering a real need, for a real moment, in the life of a real woman.

One conviction remained constant: a beautiful handbag that cannot endure is not luxury. Durability and structure were valued as highly as beauty, and that pursuit led to the defining signature of the House — faceted, architectural, polygonal forms. Strength expressed through design.

The Evolution of a Signature

Two Letters, One Signature

Every Miquela Davin detail is considered — including our signature.

Our original MD monogram, with its initials placed side by side, marked the beginning of our story. As the House evolved, so did its emblem. The D descended, creating a signature that feels more distinctive, elegant and sculptural — less like a conventional logo and more like a piece of jewellery.

It reflects our philosophy that even the smallest detail should demonstrate *thought, artistry and craft*.

The Founder’s Reserve

A limited number of our earliest creations carry the original MD signature. These pieces form part of our *Founder’s Reserve* — a finite collection representing the first chapter of Miquela Davin.

Authenticity

Both signatures are authentically Miquela Davin. Every bag carries a unique *authentication code*, which should be verified online following the instructions on the Authentication Card.
